The Mississippi NationalEconomics Challenge is about to begin!

 

• NOW—Teacher Registration Begins—Choose "Teacher Registration" from the menu to the left to get started.  Click here to access the National Economics Challenge Teacher Toolkit. 
• Divisions:   
  • David Ricardo: first-time competitors that have taken no more than one economics course
  • Adam Smith: for returning competitors, AP, International Baccalaureate, and honors students
• September 21 -October 9, 2026: ONLINE COMPETITION OPEN FOR TESTING
• November 30 December 11, 2026: ONLINE COMPETITION OPEN FOR TESTING
• March 1-19, 2027  ONLINE COMPETITION OPEN FOR TESTING
• April 2027: Top scoring high school teams from each region will face off in the state championship in Jackson, MS.
• April 2027:The first place teams from each division in the State Championship will test in the National Semi-Finals. No travel necessary.
• TBA: National Economics Challenge.  The 2027 National Challenge will be held in-person.  
• TEACHERS—Register today and start creating your student teams.
• STUDENTS—Study hard, the Challenge will test you and your knowledge of economics.
