Educator Registration: Educators can register at https://econchallenge.unl.edu/ or using the Green Teacher Registration tab at the left starting in January 2026.

Competition: 
The qualifier round Oregon State Economics Challenge ONLINE! will be held at https://econchallenge.unl.edu/ from March 1 - March 31, 2026

The State Championship will be held the week of April 13-17 (TBD)

Team coaches choose the exact start time that best suits their schedules for the online qualifier at any time during the testing window.

• Each student will be given 35 minutes but all team members must complete the exam within a 3-hour timeframe.
• Once the competition begins, students enter the EconChallenge ONLINE! website and complete a 30 question rapid fire exam consisting of microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics and current events.
• The school is responsible for providing a proctored testing area.   Students must be supervised by a school staff member at all times.

The test cannot be reset due to computer errors at the school.
