The 2026 Online Ohio Economics Challenge:

• Registration Opens: January 5, 2026: Teachers may view the rules and register teams of four high school students. There are no team limits, making this a great class activity.

• January 5 - April 8, 2026 - Online Competition: Students can enter the Ohio Economics Challenge website and complete the exam. 
  
  The State Winners of the Ohio Economics Challenge will receive a notification once the competition has ended. In the event of a tie, the team with the lowest total time to complete the exams will be declared the winner. Only team scores are available for distribution.

The 2026 National Economics Challenge:

• April 20th - 24th, 2026: Semi-Finals will be held online. The top teams in each division will be invited to the National Economics Challenge Finals.

• Wednesday, May 27th through Friday, May 29th, 2026: The 2026 National Economics Finals will be held in person in Atlanta, Georgia. They will consist of a Critical Thinking Round and a quiz bowl for the top teams. CEE will cover the hotel and food costs for all teams.
