Welcome to The Ohio EconChallenge ONLINE!

The National Economics Challenge is a fun and free way for students to flex their intellectual muscles and test their knowledge of economics.

Competitions are held at the State, National Semi-Final, and National Final levels for high school students in two divisions: the Adam Smith Division, for advanced placement, international baccalaureate and honors students; and the David Ricardo Division for semester general economics students.

Teachers may view the rules and register teams of four high school students. There are no team limits so this makes a great class activity.  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

The State Winners of the Ohio EconChallenge ONLINE will receive a notification once the competition has ended. In the event of a tie, the team with the lowest total time used to complete the exams will be declared the winner. Only team scores are available for distribution.

National Semi-Finals will be scheduled by region to be held on one day between Monday, May 9-Thursday, May 12, 2022. This round will be conducted as an online test.

Virtual Critical Thinking Round: Held between Monday, May 16 Sunday, May 22
In-Person Finals: Saturday, June 4 Monday, June 6

Don't Forget to Register!
