The Indiana Economics Challenge will be ONLINE: TWO SESSIONS THIS YEAR!

• 2025 Fall Indiana Challenge (Online) October 4th, 2025 - November 26th, 2025

• Registration Opens: October 4th, 2025  

• The First Stage (Online Exam) must be completed by November 12, 2025, at 5 p.m. (Eastern Time)

• State Finals: TBD (Online)

• 2026 Spring Indiana Challenge (Online) January 2, 2026 - March 6th, 2026

• Registration Opens: January 2nd, 2026  

• The First Stage (Online Exam) must be completed by March 6th, 2026, at 5 p.m. (Eastern Time)

• State Finals: TBD (Online)

The top 3 teams in each high school division (David Ricardo and Adam Smith) for each semester (fall and spring) will advance to the state finals TBD. Individual schools will be limited to a maximum of 2 state final berths.  

State Finals Details: 

• Held Online - Quiz Bowl style, teams will go head-to-head on TBD.

• Times TBD 

State Finals Prizes (for each Division): 

• State Champion Team Members: $500 scholarship to Purdue (Main Campus) per student if student matriculates to Purdue (Main Campus).

• 2nd place: $250 scholarship to Purdue (Main Campus) per student if student matriculates to Purdue (Main Campus).

• 3rd place: a $100 scholarship to Purdue (Main Campus) per student if the student matriculates to Purdue (Main Campus).
