The Challenge is open from March 6, 2026. Student teams in Washington may participate until April 8, 2026.

 

The Washington State Competition Dates:

• State Online Competition: March 6, 2028 - April 8, 2026
• The top five scoring teams from each Division announced: April 13, 2026

The National Competition Dates:

For teams that advance to the National Competition.

• Washington State Competitions: March 6, 2026 - April 8, 2026

• National Online Semi-Finals: April 20 - 24, 2026 Semi-Finals will consist of forty-five questions covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international and current events and will be held online. 

• National Finals (Held in-person in Atlanta, GA): May 27 - May 29, 2026 This round will consist of a Critical Thinking Round and Quiz Bowl for the top-scoring teams.
