Everyone can compete in the EconChallenge ONLINE!
Teacher Registration: Teachers can register at econchallenge.unl.edu starting January 10th.
Competition: The Online Challenge will be held at econchallenge.unl.edu from 3/17/2025 to 3/22/2025 at noon.
The three highest scoring teams in the Adam Smith division and the David Ricardo division in the EconChallenge ONLINE! will be invited to compete in Round two of the State competition. (Only one team per school can win to move onto Round two) (Ties are broken first by the team score of all four team members and if still in a tie, then by the time it took each team to complete the questions). Round two is a Critical Thinking Analysis that will be held virtual -- David Ricardo - Early April TBD and Adam Smith --Early April TBD . The first place winning team in each division will be invited to compete in the National semi finals EconChallenge to be held online April 21-24, 2025.
Prizes
State Level:
The top two highest scoring teams in each division will win cash prizes
- First Place: $250 for each student member of the team and the teacher
- Second Place: $100 for each student member of the team and the teacher
National Level:
The top team will receive cash prizes. (amounts to be determined).
