Welcome to the Economics Arkansas' Economic Challenge!

The Arkansas Economics Challenge is a state-level competition for high school students consisting of two rounds of competition:  online qualification round (January 1, 2026 - February 20, 2026) and an in-person Final Round.  During the Final Round there are two components: a testing portion and a team presentation. Competing students display their knowledge of micro and macroeconomics as well as the global economy. Teachers can register teams of 3-4 students who will compete against other teams from around the state. Winning teams receive cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers and the chance for 1st place to move on to the later stages of the National Economics Challenge.
