Arizona's Economics Challenge

The Arizona Economics Challenge (EC) invites teachers to engage their students in an academic competition showcasing student's knowledge of economics. This competition is held for students to compete in teams of 3 or 4 and test their knowledge on economics, monetary policy, international trade, and markets. The top scoring teams from the online testing round of each division will compete in an exciting, fast paced, in-person Quiz Bowl.

This is a fun and competitive way to engage students more fully in their learning while assessing how well they are meeting economic standards. There is no fee to participate!

If you are new to the Arizona Economics Challenge, welcome! You will need to select “Teacher Registration” from the menu and create your teacher profile. Once your profile is created, you will be able to log in and begin creating your teams.

If you are a returning teacher, welcome back! Your profile information is saved from your previous participation, and you can log in to begin creating your teams for this year’s challenge!

Teachers are invited to engage their students in this outstanding academic competition. The competition is open to all middle and high school students who have taken an economics or economics-related course in school. There is no fee to participate.

The Arizona Economics Challenge will be held on April 11, 2025.
