The Basics

Each student on your team individually answers a 30-question test of questions from micro, macro and international topics in a 35-minute maximum time.

Beginning economics students compete in the David Ricardo Division. The Adam Smith Division is for students who have competed previously or are AP, IB or honors students

Test results are kept confidential and only given to the teacher and student.

Top-performing schools from each division from both the fall and spring competitions will move on to an in-person State Competition.
