 You're invited to participate in the 2024 National 

 Economics Challenge !

 

Team Registration is from January 1, 2024 - April 11, 2024.

 

The National Economics Challenge is an online exam that will determine state champion teams, each of whom will advance to the Online Semi-Finals of the National Economics Challenge. Teams of three or four members complete the exam during which time each individual team member will have up to 35 minutes to complete a test covering micro and macroeconomic principles as well as knowledge of the world economy.

  • The Challenge is free to your students and you may register as many teams as you'd like.

The Challenge Timeline:

  • Registration dates: January 1 - April 11, 2024 
  • Exam period: March 27, 2024 through 6:00 PM Eastern Time on April 12, 2024 
  • Teams Advancing to National Semi-Finals Notified: April 17, 2024 
  • Online National Semi-Finals: April 22 – 26, 2024 
  • Teams Advancing to National Finals Notified: May 1, 2024
  • In-Person National Finals: June 1 - 3, 2024

The top-scoring State Champion teams from the Online National Semi-Finals will advance to the in-person National Finals in New York City.

Teams will compete for cash prizes in the following amounts for each team member, plus one teacher-coach: 1st place: $1,000 | 2nd place: $500 | 3rd place: $250 | 4th place: $200
